- [13th August 2008] Michael Michaud creates a new plugin for attribute aggregation (http://geo.michaelm.free.fr/OpenJUMP/resources/aggregation-0.1.jar alpha version). You can use it to aggregate a feature attribute of a source layer onto features of a target layer based on a geometry predicate. Thanks Michael!
- [7th August 2008] Team member of the Month: This month we like to acknowledge Andreas Schmitz work on OpenJUMP. Andreas is working for Lat/Lon on the functionality of deeJUMP. He regularly contributes his developments, such as SLD and WFS support back to OpenJUMP. We thank You!
- [5th Jule 2008] Larry Becker Added “Multi-Ring-Buffer Function” tool for selected objects on OpenJUMP nightly snapshot.
- [15th June 2008] Larry Becker Added “Get buffer distance from attribute” option to Buffer Tool on OpenJUMP nightly snapshot.
- [20th May 2008] Andreas Schmidt improved capability of OpenJUMP nightly snapshot to import/export SLD. OpenJUMP can export (and import) layer styles to other GIS softwares (uDig, Kosmo,..) and to WMS
- [3rd Feb 2008] OpenJUMP user list moved from jump-users@jump-project.org to openjump-users@googlegroups.com. Users can subscribe here:
